Terms of Service

Please read these terms before using Tidy. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

1. The service

Tidy is a photo library management app for iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play). It lets you review, keep, delete, and organise photos from your camera roll using swipe gestures, voice commands, and device motion. Your photos are processed entirely on your device — we do not store your photos or run any photo processing on our servers. The limited data we do process is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age to use Tidy in your country: at least 13 in the US, at least the digital-consent age (up to 16) in the EEA/UK, and at least 18 in India. By using the app you confirm you meet the applicable requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm you have your parent or guardian's permission. The app is not directed to children; see the "Children and minors" section of the Privacy Policy.

3. Your content

Your photos remain yours. We do not claim any ownership or rights over content in your camera roll. Tidy only accesses your photos to display them in-app for your own review — your photos and any Voice Lock voiceprint are never transmitted to us or any third party. Separate, limited data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy (for ads, referrals, crash reports, and purchases).

Deletions are your responsibility. When you confirm a deletion in Tidy, photos are moved to iOS "Recently Deleted" and are recoverable for 30 days via the Photos app. After that they are permanently deleted by iOS. We are not responsible for unintended deletions.

5. Premium and in-app purchases

Tidy Premium is a one-time, lifetime in-app purchase (no subscription) available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. It removes ads and unlocks unlimited sessions. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and entitlements are managed through our purchase provider Adapty. Purchases are subject to Apple's Terms of Sale or Google Play's Terms, as applicable. We do not issue refunds directly — refund requests must go through Apple or Google.

6. Referral programme

The referral system rewards you for inviting friends who genuinely use Tidy. Attempting to abuse the system — including creating fake accounts, using automation, or coordinating with others to generate fraudulent referrals — will result in the associated referral codes being voided and rewards revoked. We reserve the right to suspend access for users found gaming the system.

Referral rewards (free sessions, lifetime premium) are granted at our discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Ads

The free version of Tidy displays ads served by Google AdMob. Where you consent, these ads are personalised and your advertising identifier and IP address are shared with Google for advertising; otherwise they are non-personalised. You can manage these choices at any time in Settings → Privacy, as described in the Privacy Policy. Ads are shown after sessions and at other natural breakpoints. We do not control the specific ads shown, and ad content is governed by Google's advertising policies.

8. Disclaimers

Tidy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free, available at all times, or suitable for any particular purpose. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from use of the app — including accidental deletions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from use of Tidy is limited to the amount you paid for the app (if anything).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the effective date at the top when we do. Material changes will be communicated via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
