Compliance & Data Protection
Last updated: June 9, 2026
Every privacy and compliance matter runs through a single address: support@tidyupapp.online. Our data-protection contact and our India Grievance Officer (DPDPA) can be reached there directly, and EU/EEA data-protection matters under GDPR Article 27 are handled at the same address. Your photos and voice profile stay on your device; you can opt out of personalised ads and delete your data right inside the app, in Settings → Privacy.
1. Reach all of our officers here
You do not need to find the right person — write to support@tidyupapp.online and it reaches whichever role your request concerns. We aim to respond within 48 hours and within the statutory deadlines (e.g. 30 days under DPDPA, 45 days under CCPA/CPRA, one month under GDPR).
| Role | Reach directly at | Designated person |
|---|---|---|
| Data Protection Contact (controller / business / Data Fiduciary) | support@tidyupapp.online | Aditya Bhat (India) |
| EU/EEA data-protection matters — GDPR Article 27 | support@tidyupapp.online | EU/EEA users may contact us directly at this address for any data-protection matter. |
| Grievance Officer — India DPDPA | support@tidyupapp.online | Aditya Anant Bhat, Mumbai, India |
2. Your rights & how to use them
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, export, correct, and delete your data, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of personalised / "sold or shared" advertising. You can exercise most of these yourself, instantly:
- In the app: Settings → Privacy — toggle Personalised ads off (this is also the "Do Not Sell or Share" opt-out), turn off crash reports, Request my data (export), or Delete my data (erases the data linked to your device on our servers).
- By email: write to support@tidyupapp.online describing your request. We may need to confirm the request relates to your device's anonymous identifier.
Your photos and, if you enabled Voice Lock, your voice profile are processed only on your device and are never uploaded — deleting them is done in the app and is immediate.
3. Where to complain
If we have not resolved your concern, you may also contact a regulator: in the EU/EEA or UK, your local data-protection supervisory authority; in India, raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer above and, if unresolved, the Data Protection Board of India; in California, the California Privacy Protection Agency or the Attorney General.
4. The frameworks we follow
- GDPR / UK GDPR — EU/EEA & UK data protection (lawful basis, consent, rights, Art. 27 representative).
- CCPA / CPRA and other US state privacy laws — notice, opt-out of sale/sharing & targeted advertising, sensitive-data handling.
- India DPDPA 2023 — notice & consent, children's-data protections, grievance redressal.
- EU AI Act — the on-device Voice Lock is 1:1 owner verification (limited-risk, transparency) and image labelling is minimal-risk; both run only on your device.
- Accessibility — we work toward WCAG 2.2 AA and the EU Accessibility Act (text scaling, screen-reader labels, non-motion alternatives, reduced-motion support).
